Cash discount

See what card fees cost you now.

With cash discount, your posted price is the card price and cash customers get a discount. The fee that used to come out of your margin is built into the card price.

How cash discount works at the register →

Not sure of your rate? Divide last month’s total fees by your card sales. Most stores land between 2.5% and 3.5%.

You pay in card fees today $1,800 a month, or $21,600 a year

With cash discount, the service fee in your posted card price covers most of that. Your $39 per station software fee and small monthly account fees still apply.

How it works

Demo to open register in three to four weeks.

You spend about an hour of your own time. The inventory build, configuration and shipping are handled for you.

Every step in detail →

  1. Take the 60-second check and send your statements

Answer five quick questions, upload your last 2 or 3 processing statements, and tell us what POS you use now so we can check your item import. Then pick a 15-minute demo time.

  2. Walk through the system with us

A live screen-share of the register, inventory and reports, using a store like yours. Bring your latest processing statement and we’ll show you what cash discount would change.

  3. Pick your option and apply

Free hardware offer or Own It. You fill out the processing application. Your statements are already in, so there’s nothing more to dig up. Free hardware stores also do a short live product demo with our processing partner.

  4. Approval

The processor reviews your application. We keep you posted and tell you right away if anything else is needed.

  5. Your inventory gets built

Send your item list as an export from your current system or a spreadsheet. It’s imported and you review it before anything ships.

  6. Delivery and setup

The system ships configured for your store, typically about 14 business days after approval and inventory. Plug it in and we walk you through setup and training by phone.

Questions

What owners ask first.

Is the free hardware offer really free?

Yes, for the hardware. Through December 31, established liquor stores that qualify get up to two complete stations with no hardware cost. What you do pay: the $39 per station monthly software and support fee, and processing through the merchant account that comes with the system.

The program exists because the processor earns on your card processing. That is the trade.

Who qualifies for the free hardware offer?

Liquor stores that have been open at least 3 months, run about $25,000 a month or more in card sales, and can send recent processing statements. Every application is reviewed individually, so meeting the numbers doesn’t guarantee approval.

What if I don’t qualify, or I’m opening a new store?

Choose Own It. You buy the hardware at $2,000 per station through October 31 (regular $3,500), and there’s no sales-volume minimum. You get the same setup, inventory build and support.

What does the monthly fee cover?

$39 per station per month covers the software license, the online dashboard, daily cloud backups, software updates and 24/7 phone support. It is set by the processor and we can’t mark it up.
